Candid Anthony needs to just STFU.
How anybody can take offense when something is given to you for free is beyond me.
But X-Game invites, now that is a good idea. Sorry, but when I am in a lobby playing a game on the 360 and wonder why few people are talking the remember that they are all probably chatting with their buddies who are currently playing something else, it is a bit frustrating. If you are playing COD4, play COD4 and chat with those of us in COD4.
I like cross game invites but the chat is just silly.
And now on to a comment refraining from fanboyisms and Xbox delusions...
This is a great update. Text chat is nice and since it is free things could not get sweeter. What this shows me is that they are actively working on these features and making their free service better each time they shoot out an update. Good for Sony and good for the users. My guess is that they will soon have all the features we clamor for and then, with a free offering to the consumer, Sony will have sol...
Even if that were the case, which those of us with a brain know it is not the case, that would still leave you with 125,000 levels to play on top of the levels that came with the game. So tell me, how many months would it take you to get through over 125,000 levels in LBP? If they took you each an average of 5 minutes to complete you would be able to play LBP for 434 days without taking a break. Did you see what happened there? Math is your friend and stupid comments are not. Even at 50,000 l...
When it comes to a Sony game that was said to not be possible on the 360? I'm sorry, but I find this a bit out of the water for me to even bite. Sounds like another desperate call on MS's part to discredit the PS3 and Sony. It's sad that MS can't just admit that KZ2 is an amazing game and leave it at that. Sour grapes is so unbecoming of corporations these days.
Also, if KZ2 can be done on the 360 then why is it that Halo 3 looked dated the day it was released? Why didn't they ...
Yay for April Fools Day...
I am guessing that few of you read the article. Sony has a right to be optimistic. Does that mean that what he wishes will come true? Nope, but it would be a little od and quite possible career suicide for him to say no, his console will not sell well... You people act as though if somebody stands behind their product that they are stuck up or full of themselves. Maybe, just maybe it's what corporate folks do, they promote their stuff rather than shun their goods.
You would have kept or are still using your PS2. With the PS2 now at 99 bucks, anybody that wants to play those games can and Sony going this route saves us who just want the PS3 for current generation games money. Yeah I know the argument of having to hook up another console but if you are that dedicated to the old games then you will have no problem hooking up a few extra wires.
And as for the title...
Wii gen? Really? Are we calling this gent he Wii-gen?
Pathetic.
What's wrong with current and next?
Nuff said.
And after reading that I have now found the face of ignorance. Sorry, but history alone proves this guy wrong. It will have a significant impact, mark my words. If anybody knows history, they know it repeats itself. And no, that is not my verbiage.
It is nearly impossible to take it down from the thrown without a significant throw down between competing formats. That is what we call a format war and it happens about every ten years or so, or so it would seem. If anything, the next format won't release for another 10 years and will more than likely fight for the lead with a competing format while BD sells off shelves as the current dominating format. DVD will go by the wayside in the next 3 to 5 years and then let the fighting begin.
+1
Yikes that game looks like arse. Even if you could get 32 players on the same screen, all it would look like is a puddle of jello. Is this a joke?
Before making any cheap knock-offs of this title. Either that or they are of the mind set that it takes years to come up with something this awesome in which case it will be a few years from now that we see something even comparable.
I along with well over 1 million people would disagree. Sorry, but your opinion is respected but not admired. I say the game has it's high points while as with others it has it's bad sides too. The online play is solid and works very well and the zombie mode is fun for many of us. If you don't like it, don't play it.
If it were not for that mode I would have dropped that game off in trade already. That new zombie level is absolutely sick.
Are silly and need to find some more time to game and less time to pitch a fit about people's tags. When did it become fashionable to complain about how people write out their gamer tags or PSN IDs. lol
To those who still play and love the PS2, it is great news. 99 bucks is cheap when considering a console that shares the same graphics as the Wii and has a library of games that is nearly never ending.
I love the title myself and played it for months after release. Now with other titles on my shelves I play it considerable less but have had many great days of creating, playing and sharing. For all who have a PS3 and did not buy this game, you have cheated yourself out of a great title and should at the very least, try it by rental. It is a great title.
